How It Works

This calculator helps determine the position size and leverage needed based on your risk management parameters. By setting your maximum dollar risk and stop-loss percentage, you can calculate the optimal position size for your trades.

Position Value = Max Risk / (Stop-Loss Percentage / 100)
Real Leverage Used = Position Value / Account Size
Margin Requirement (%) = 100 / Leverage
Profit in $ = Position Value × (Take-Profit Percentage / 100)
Loss in Dollar = Maximum Dollar Risk

Example Calculation

With a $50 account, risking $15 at a 0.50% stop-loss and 1.00% take-profit:

  • Position Value = $15 / 0.005 = $3,000
  • Leverage Used = $3,000 / $50 = 60:1
  • Margin Requirement = 100 / 60 = 1.67%
  • Profit in $ = $3,000 × 0.01 = $30
  • Loss in Dollar = $15

You would need a broker that offers at least 60:1 leverage to open this position.

Binance Futures Calculator Guide

This calculator helps determine liquidation prices and profit/loss for Binance Futures positions.

Position Size (USD) = Margin × Leverage
Liquidation Price (Long) = Entry Price × (1 - Maintenance Margin Rate - (Margin / Position Size))
Liquidation Price (Short) = Entry Price × (1 + Maintenance Margin Rate + (Margin / Position Size))

Example Calculation

For a long position with the following parameters:

  • Margin: 6,500 USDT
  • Leverage: 7x
  • Entry Price: 25,000 USDT
  • Maintenance Margin Rate: 0.5%

Position Size = 6,500 × 7 = 45,500 USDT
Liquidation Price = 25,000 × (1 - 0.005 - (6,500 / 45,500)) = ~21,285 USDT

Crypto Profit Calculator Guide

This calculator helps determine the potential profit or loss from your cryptocurrency investments.

Units Purchased = Investment Amount / (Initial Price × (1 + Investment Fee/100))
Total Investment Cost = Investment Amount × (1 + Investment Fee/100)
Total Exit Value = Units Purchased × Selling Price × (1 - Exit Fee/100)
Profit/Loss = Total Exit Value - Total Investment Cost
Profit/Loss Percentage = (Profit/Loss / Total Investment Cost) × 100

Example Calculation

For a Bitcoin investment with the following parameters:

  • Investment Amount: $1,000 USD
  • Initial Price: $50,000 USD/BTC
  • Selling Price: $60,000 USD/BTC
  • Investment Fee: 0.1%
  • Exit Fee: 0.1%

Units Purchased = 1000 / (50000 × 1.001) = 0.01998 BTC
Total Investment Cost = 1000 × 1.001 = $1,001.00
Total Exit Value = 0.01998 × 60000 × 0.999 = $1,197.20
Profit/Loss = $1,197.20 - $1,001.00 = $196.20 (19.60%)

Margin Calculator: For a 1 lot EUR/USD trade with 1:100 leverage at 1.1000 rate = $1,100 margin

Profit/Loss Calculator: Buy 1 lot EUR/USD at 1.1000, sell at 1.1050 = $500 profit

Lot Size Calculator: $10,000 account, 2% risk, 50 pip stop, $10/pip = 0.4 lots

Swap Calculator: 1 lot EUR/USD, -0.25 pips/night, 3 nights, $10/pip = -$7.50
